Playing Warcraft 3 on widescreen!
A lot of the new games support high resolutions up to 1600x1050! while some of the older games like wc3 only support til 1280x1024!!

Owned a widescreen but not use to the big dota hero on the screen? Heres a tip on how to run wc3 in widescreen solution

1) Make sure the resolution you want to run is supported by your graphics drivers.

RightClick Desktop---> properties---> settings tab -----> scroll the slider record down the various resolution..

*If you can select a resolution in your Operating System, then it is supported.

2)Backup your registry, in case something goes wrong.

START > Run > regedit > file > export


3) Change Warcraft 3's resolution manually.
START > run > regedit

While in the Windows Registry Editor (regedit), locate:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Blizzard Entertainment > Warcraft III > Video



4) right click resheight/reswidth---->click on modify---->change the base to decimal--->input the desired height/width to the value data textbox


**refer to your list and input the values u want XDDDDDDD
** u need not edit the resolution under the video setting after u done this, it will be auto configured to the resolution u inputtted. IF u select one of the values from the list, it will be auto changed to the one u selected.
