under the graphic section ultra high setting were disabled. theres no stress test mode available for us to make benchmark. However theres a optimal setting detection function to use.Medium was optimal for mi but under high setting it was pretty much playable @40~fps.Under the Sound settings, players get to choose male/female suite sound which pretty much shows gamers arent really all guys thingy.

Brief summary
Game started with a brief epilogue about scientist being missing in korean terriorty a week ago.Your job is to find,rescue and get out of there without being detected.
After a brief briefting by the Crytek squad leader, u were seperated from your buddies after ur chute malfunctioned. First objective was to meet up with ur other mates.Soon after meeting up with one of the mates, one of ur other mates was multiated tgt with 4 other koreans. Obviously it wasnt something human.And the story goes on.. shall not touch on that.

what do u say. This game has pretty much of everything i expect in a game. u can destroy, or interact with almost object u come by with .. Pick up a turtle and switch ur suite to strength mode and threw it far far away. Likewise u can do it to the koreans too. Alternatively , strength mode allows you to perform high jump, something normal human couldnt perform in real life.

Fruits anyone?

In cloak mode, u can go undetected and sneak up on the koreans. However do note that it has a limited battery life and it auto charge up when u stop using it.one thing interestingly which my sis point out was that, theres still a shadow of mi .. So i was wondering if in multiplayer mode will this render the stealth mode as useless?

In Speedmode, it increase ur movement speed and gives u a temporary speeed boast when u press left shift. It too do have a limited battery life and auto recharge when u stop using it.

In armourmode, you take lesser damage from gunfire than in other modes.Hp auto regenerate when you stop taking gunfire..

Lastly weapon customisation. one of the feature whichh every shooter game should have (in my opinion)You can attach silencer, flashlight, laser point to guide ur gunfire and also the mode of the zoom in mode.

Physics was kewl too, destructable houses, fallable trees(after which u can pick it up ) explosive barrels.

This game isnt all about brute strength and mindless charging. You need to make use of the powers of ur suite to work out a stragety to clear fortified base.Use speed mode to charge to safety. Stealth to sneak into base. strength to throw object over a distance or jump onto the rooftop to get a better view of the area. Its alittle bit like tactical shooter games.. whereby u have to make use of what you have to work something out.E.g silencer guns for stealth mission, flashlight for dark forest etc. 10/10! must have game.

Didnt have much time to post any new gadget as i was busy working ... long hours little pay=(. anyway.. i bought a few new fans/coolers and a new board...

we have the
zerotherm BTF90 cpu cooler

Firstly i bought the zerotherm BTF90 cpu cooler for $89 so as to proceed further with the overclocking. I was hoping for a 500mhz stable oc. After a few tweaks, i couldnt up the NorthBridge, Dimm voltage to +0.3v. As a result all i receive was

3.3ghz ~ 950mhz .. cpu stress test passed .

It did boot up to windows @ ddr2 1000mhz cpu@ 3500mhz but couldnt pass any of the stress test and was unstable... mainly bcuz the Northbridge/Rams was way too hot...burning hot and scaling when touched.

So i went back down to sls and bought ocz memory cooler @ $40 from fuwell and HR-05 SLI/IFX @ $70~ after a long search in sls.. did managed to install the memory cooler
and chipset cooler on my Northbridge after a long struggle with the gigabyte northbrige. It was stuck under my cpu cooler and i had to removed the cpu cooler, memory cooler and the board from the casing.After installing it, i had to slant the whole HR-05 by 45degree as its pretty cramp.

finally after all was installed, i discover that i couldnt boot up at all.. it looks like the board is dead. with constant beeps. dual check, triple check all the connectors but its the same beeping.. now i have to send it for rma to get a new one.

so i went down to sls today and bought ASUS P5k deluxe from bell .. i had a hard time deciding on ASUS maximus formula which cost $550, Gigabyte X38- DQ6 $498 and ASUS P5k deluxe $398 ..
Maximus formula was tempting, under the flagline of ASUS famous ROG(rig of gamers) series mobo and comes with stalker and 3Dmark 06 full verison.. crossfire 2x16 pci 2.0 lanes.. if u do a search on asus striker extreme on googles, theres pretty much compliment on it. However reviews on Maximus formula seems unpromising, pretty mixed comments on its performance i must sae..
Gigabyte x38-dq6 was also tempting with its lower price yet similar performance to maximus. The box was pretty huge(huger than anyother of the boards) with shining golden words "X38 -DQ6" on it. QUAD BIOS,QUAD SAFETY, QUAD blahblah was all imprinted in gold on it. There was even a x38-dq6 on display there with geil ultra rams, 8600gt!.
Lastly P5k Deluxe, need not to be introduced.. pretty much praised for its high overclockability(both cpu and ram) and functions.You have lotsa ports eg 8 sata ports 12 usb, crossfire(1@ x16 the other @x4 not that good i know) ddr2 1066 support,45mn procesor support, wifi card, dual lan ports , great heatpipes and asus super memspeed technology .

Firstly i wasnt really happy to pay $550 for smt which doesnt offer more oc than anything $100 below of it .. so it came down to P5k deluxe and Gigabyte X38-DQ6.
gigabyte was really tempting. with PCI-e 2.0 crossfire .. thats pretty much more bandwidth u can get.. but then again. when PCI-e 2.0 boards become mainstream.. i could get it for much lesser price.. so in the end i chose ASUS over GIGABYTE cuz of its Pc probe II, a temperature monitoring program which also controls the fan speeds. Bios was much better too for tuning.

1x wifi ,2xlan ports 3xSATA ports and lotsa USB ports could be found at the back panel. its pretty convenient since i only had 2 front usb ports on my casing.now i need not pluck and unpluck my xbox controller every now and den. SATA ports behind are pretty convenient too.

after installing everything(HR-05 was not neeeded as the board cooling was far superior)..

Couldnt see the butterfly clearly as i swap the exhaust fan for a 3.5k rpm high airflow delta fan.. pretty loud but efficent too, gpu/cpu temp drop by almost2-3 degree..

i learnt my lesson after getting this board.. its pretty much shows how important sufficent cooling is needed for the extra few hundred mhz.
Northbrige was cooler by almost 20-30 degree
Cpu was cooler by 2degree under 100% load .
average ambience temp drop by2-3 judging from the individual temp records, caused by the less heat produced.

500fsb hit easily on this board. Fsb @ +0.2v NB@+0.3v, ram voltage @2.25v , cpu voltage @ 1.475v

stay tune while i try to go higher... though i think most likely will be cpu limited.

PALADIN!!

k saturday was fun. there was this photo taking competition at the wgt booth whereby
pictures which showcase the sponsars stuff(banners/coms/anything) and showcase creativity gets to win a 512mb kingston ram and headset by steelseries. So maki being the cameraman a pretty bad angle which he take from.should take from my left side=(. k the banner acts like the omniknight weapon,big huge mace of some sort. so
i nickname the pic paladin or u can call it omniknight. at first they miss out my pic.. then i have to walk up and clarify. eventually one old lady won one set of the ram and headset and it came down to two pictures for the remaining set.HEHHE obbviously the guy didnt know the whole place was ppl i know.. so we said ask the gamers ! and he did ask. which all vote for mi =D . so i got to walk away with this steelseries 3H headset which worth around $50USD while i gave the ram stick to MAki

Now on my little review on the headset. First on the outlook, it can be very portable to lan parties as it is easily foldable and the mic is hidden inside the headset. just had to pull it out if u need it. oh and its pretty small and light when i worn it too.

Whilst the ear padding is small they are very comfortable to wear and don't press on your head too much.

A very affordable and good headset pricing at 50USD, the only con it have is u cant find a volume control on it, meaning u have to depend on the computer sound settings.
For me its pretty good enough for night usage. since i cant blast my speakers without being struggled in the nite.

Went to the gaming convention today.. took a cab down cuz i tot i was late.. turn out lei was later than mi =_=. k the cab driver uncle voice was barely hearable.. cracking sound.. still smoking.. he ask if i mind , i said no since i was in a rush.. he talk about the army man who run out of guard duty with a rifle.. cuz his gf break with him ... and then about nyp tammmy =.=..
Suprisingly other than the major booth, i hardly see any asian game company there.. and hellgate:london didnt even had a booth there.. disappointment=(
blizzard only had a wall with one tv with game video playing in it.. theres not even a booth! wth.. all i see was two gurls cosplaying warlocks..
Worse of all, despite show casing the latest games..they dont take in preorders of the games=(..Wanted to try prostreeet and crysis but it was full like 24/7.. small kids occupying the car seats..
There was a kawaii gal wearing a ranger suit with a hat at the n-Gage booth.. she lookss cute and sweet under the hat.. too shy to approach and take photo with her hhaaha.. i had like 3 pimple in my face after i woke up this morning so ya.
There was bears walking around and mi, maki and nam even take photos with them hehehe! but it was on their camera.. forgot to ask for a copy..i gave one of the bears a bear hug^-^.
My 1st round with x3m was quite easy.. got an dagger around lvl8 15mins for a zeus tgt with a bottle.. i got most of the runes, surprisingly their rune control was weak. So in the end i stay in the battlefied without having to go home at all.game ended with a beyond godlike streak.14-1 zeus.^^'my nick was i hate(in symbols) cynnie =x.
Dn gurls arrived at around 1+.. they had a a better lane control draft bb zeus, silencer, na viper vs qop+sk , potm ,fv+?.. mid was losing . so is btm i guess. only saw parts of it.. haha mad said there was gals at the playsoft or smt stage.. dancing as according to Audition game.. mi, hengky, nam,mad, maki all went over to watch =x .. came back to only see dn gals losing`. thio baited by qop at mid, chronosphere going off trapping all 4 of dn heroes.. dn gurls lack guinsoo, after impale there was actually nth to stop qop from blinking. global silence require mass damage/disabler within the duration in order to win the engage.obviously they were underfarmed in someways. i dont see the rush to start the engage anyway.. since they got bb to tank. but they just straight chiong opp heroes gosh . _. or get caught for standing too infront.

Gaming Fiesta
Played from 8am- 8pm ytd.. took us quite a while to find the place as we tot it was inside suntec instead of outside.. IT was pretty bad for a venue as we get owned by the weather changes.. hot and stuffy during the morning .. and the place was wet during the afternoon when it rain! And there was only 20coms .Bleh so much for overnite lan fiesta =_= with 20coms? I should have expected it to be outdoors..
since suntec convention halls closes at 2-3am .. been a long time since i played so
happily! mayb bcuz i dont aim to win anything anymore so no pressure on myself :D

He donno how to lure both creep spawn at sentiel side. lousy. k this game was won by elq/sty cuz they was owning while i was farming.. in the end manage to get a rapier and burize `.. hehee

3nd round vs NP(LENG)
starting of the game we will winning .. lr had no $ so does potm.so is bb.
we lost our advantage when we didnt manage to push in wasting time u see .. as lr and
bb was farming and came back when we are reaching 3rd tower. we had no vision of the base.cuz they warded the area. the spots where bm bird could hide from the tower. what i felt was, pushing mid was a mistake. should we push at btm whereby sk could burrow upwards the slope , we should easily clear them. ^-^ they had potm bb lr na zeus while we had bm sk sf qop +one more which i forgot. so eventually we lost out 2late gamer vs 3 late gamer. our elq sf bought more than enough hp eos+heart.. when we need more dps. .. i think mantla heart will be sufficent . i max item and had like 8k in bank..despite 3 buyout and 3 of them dead i couldnt rax fast enough=(.

HEHE soloing bb was fun.i scream only when he was taking last hit ^-^ and someof the time delibrately poke him so that his creeep came to mi and the red creep was left with like 2 hits so that i can ss and scream him. as a result he soon have to retreat ^-^v. bb could be control if only u hit him in the face. hard as it is, u only have a few opportunity to actually smash his face.

4rd round vs ITE..
long draggy match.hengky viper had some bug.. bb hit him on normal terrain and it shown as miss. though i swear(tgt with 10over eyyes) it was in RANGE When bb hit him.elq died like 16times..sp died like 10 times.. we were very poor at the point when they pushed mid. elq and rep was whining and whining that we were going to lose
which mi myself dont think so.
well i did a right thing by pushing side lane when they were pushing our mid.. downed two towers and managed to
force them back to def while. earning like 3k in that solo push along^-^.sty was crazy but well thats his job.. he went in and tank all uti's.We managed to buy time with bb and side pushes(same tactic like np). eventually we managed to farmed back and push back.

rep mouth apm was faster than his hand apm.Whining and whining and no one care wat he said cuz it makes no sense. really. despite nice feeding by him, it was his job as a supporter to do so to tank uti like VENDATTA:x ... i only died 1 time before late game in the whole game thx to sp elq and rep HAHAHAH.

It was the first time cynnie and jiayi was watching us play.. cynnie was nice bought mi chrystanthemum tea halfway through watching.that drink was a life saviour. i didnt had a single drop of water for a long time.then suddenly i rmbed. cuz np and sp shared prize and we were the only one playing..BLAH.was dragged to GGA to play match even though i was soososososososo tired..

Playing games in windows mode*

Right Click frozenthrone.exe shortcut and press properties
Under "start in" textbox press spacebar and add -w OR -window
E.g "C:\Program Files\Warcraft3\wc3.exe -w"

only works for some games

However when u play dota under windows mode theres a tedency to right click on the desktop, to solve that. Follow the below guide to disable right click of desktop

1.Go to start menu, press run and type in regedit.
2.Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer
3.Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "NoViewContextMenu"
Value Name: NoViewContextMenu
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: 1(0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)
4.Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect

*to reverse the effect simply change the NoViewContextMenu value to 0.

Following the above steps dont allows you to right click any documents too.
It might actually be a gd way to hide your icons away from your sibling too.
Simply follow this additional steps.
1)Right click anywhere on desktop
2)point to "arrange icons by"
3)unticked the "show desktop icons"

This is one of the way where lanshop ownself hide icons/programs from public usage.Since editing of registry to remove the "disable right click function" require
adminstrator rights.

which i totally agree, gameplay is great, graphic are terrific, sound and storyline subtitle coordinate each other perfectly and are beyond words to describe(in a gd sense)

Step1 create a new folder
Step2 when prompt to type in the folder name,PRESS ALT+0160
Step3 right click the folder under the customsize tab click on choose icon
Step4 right in the middle of all the icons theres 3 blank image choose either one of them and click ok!

Step5(optional)Right click the folder --->properties--->under attribute tick hidden!

*Do rmb the place where u put the folder since its invisible to naked eyes

*OR u can simpily type in the URL of the folder eg C:/ALT+0160

Playing Warcraft 3 on widescreen!
A lot of the new games support high resolutions up to 1600x1050! while some of the older games like wc3 only support til 1280x1024!!

Owned a widescreen but not use to the big dota hero on the screen? Heres a tip on how to run wc3 in widescreen solution

WARNING:BEFORE YOU PROCEED,PLEASE READ THIS

I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEM CAUSED BY THIS GUIDE, DO IT AT UR OWN RISK.

1) Make sure the resolution you want to run is supported by your graphics drivers.

RightClick Desktop---> properties---> settings tab -----> scroll the slider record down the various resolution..

*If you can select a resolution in your Operating System, then it is supported.

2)Backup your registry, in case something goes wrong.

START > Run > regedit > file > export

3) Change Warcraft 3's resolution manually.
START > run > regedit

While in the Windows Registry Editor (regedit), locate:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Blizzard Entertainment > Warcraft III > Video

4) right click resheight/reswidth---->click on modify---->change the base to decimal--->input the desired height/width to the value data textbox

**refer to your list and input the values u want XDDDDDDD
** u need not edit the resolution under the video setting after u done this, it will be auto configured to the resolution u inputtted. IF u select one of the values from the list, it will be auto changed to the one u selected.

went to this lanshop at paradiz centre 3rd floor evolution square or smt today.

right outisde there is a banner reading " BLOOODY FXXXing speedycom", smt lidat followed by the computer specs. looks decent with dual core e6600 , 1gb ddr3 ram, msi 8600gt`` and with lotsa latest game installed! . It even state on a a4 paper that there is 42 coms inside !

Looks like an ah beng open lanshop to mi :S .

Tested the computer. was playing graw 1 !. they were using viewsonic 17 inch i think.. set all the setting to high. as expected the frame rate was medium` around 30+-40+ causing abit of lag making mi hard to aim :(. got fragged most of the time while trying to positioning my crosshair!

8600gt cost around $200!. the X600 series are for mainstream user! but this 8000series doesnt provide the same "value for $" title as the 6600gt 3 years ago!
6600gt provide decent in a sense it could be used for games from 3 years til now at low/medium settings!. most of the ppl are sticking with their 6600gt,7600gt and keeping their fingers cross for a new durable mainstream graphic.

For those wishing to change away their old card, i recommend ati 1950pro 512mb which cost $269 now ! costing less than a 8600 gts 256mb by $50, performance wise it own 8600gt,8600gts in all the recent games! with settings set to max it could be slightly less than or on par with my 8800gts 320mb at higher resolution, making up the speed with the mb size. only disadvantage is it only support directx 9.

For vista , u need directx 10!! this card probably last u for 1year ` b4 u make a switch as xp license is over soon (around march 2008 ). meaning no more security update and stuff!!!

For those 17-19inch a fast 256mb video card > a slower 512mb video card, while on higher resolution, the video card mb is more important!pls take note^^.

sad to say this year mainstream cards(supposedly) aarent providing the decent performance for those on budget.my advice is stick with the older cards for the moment unless u have a big budget of $460++ for a support it all gd video card.

seeing alot of ppl talking about lineage 2 , a MMORPGH, i decided to join in the hype and take a look at the graphics and gameplay and interface!

It took quite awhile to dl all 5 parts of the game. everytime i click on the dl link ,it prompt mi to enter password and username. I had to click cancel and keep retrying til the file popup and prompt mi to select the directory which i going to save to! BAD for first experience:(
When i finally did finished installing the game`and run it , the first thing i notice was the change in gamma of my msn messenger, mayb its just my software problem or it was cuz by it.
After setting all the setting to max , resolution to 1600x1050 max, i was stumped by several option like npc lmit , npc player . I Dont understand what they mean , my wild guess was the range of character sight`. so i set everthing to average!
The login page looks pretty cool after the adjustment!

i created an elf female warrior which look cool! first impression. however theres only a few option which i can customise the character unlike wow;( .

USER INTERFACE AND MOVING SYSTEM
After creating the character i proceed to de game.Apparently u have to left click in order to move to a specific position.everything depend on de mouse. u cant move around using arrow key or awsd and worst of all No autorun button`! Theres no option interface to display the keys controls.Its like The Diablo-like point and click movement system,the pathfinding isn't so great. It's nice to click on a point on the horizon and trust your character to get there, but the fences, trees and rocks in the way will cause you no end of frustration.
i had to figure out the keys myself through test and error. Somehow it doesnt allow mi to look at the sky when i click the scrolling wheel of my mouse and positioning up wards:(, it will auto scroll back to default. U also cant position ur viewing angle to a specific direction u want, instead only north south east west thorugh right click which is pretty bad.The viewing distance is pretty near. I simpily cant admire the surrounding scenery..!!(only can do so in first person view mode which even so ur viewing distance is near) A very bad camera chasing system used in the game. Theres is also NO minimap onscreen except a compass on the top right.However players can place ur skills on the bars around the screen! useful for grinding~! This game also allows macro to be made. Setting a set of instruction and execute it with one button! which is useful if u're eating while grinding:S

GRAPHICS:

The graphics are a bit of a mixed bag. I quite like the overall look of the game and the various environmental effects are generally well done. It seems as if the whole game has a gauzy sort of filter over it and this really helps to contribute to a dreamy, fantastic atmosphere. A few small issues like bizarre shadow outlines and strange colors can be a bit distracting but, as I said, these are small issues when compared to the overall impression the game's visuals makes.

Animation when swimming through underwater could be improved. Its seems like i waterwalking but submerged inside. underwaterwalking perhaps.The shadows/relfection/lightnings are well done. mainly bcuz they use HDR(also know as high dynamic range rendering) a rendering technique used in most of the recent games. It makes the game more realistic but at the same time put stress on ur gpu!

QUESTING:
NPCs have quests for you and which don't until you actually select the "quest" topic during conversation. Half the time, they'll simply tell you that "conditions aren't right" for them to give you a quest. Half of the rest of the time, the quest they can offer is beyond your level. This results in a lot of useless running around and pointless conversations. While some may feel that the question mark markers in World of Warcraft are a bit gamey, they definitely direct players to content quicker than Lineage 2's system does.

This can create the impression that Lineage 2 doesn't actually have much content. And while there are plenty of quests to be found in the game, new players will have a hard time finding enough to do. The fact that you'll often have to kill dozens and dozens of the same type of monster for some of these quests does tend to extend their practical usefulness but it also adds to the monotony. You'll have a high time investment for these missions but a disproportionately small reward.

Conclusion:
I dont quite like the moving system and the camera angle system used! overall the game isnt really user-friendly. most of the stuff could be improve!thumbsup for the graphic though!Once again.
Kill, loot , repeat!

Looking for a new samsung lcd for your computer?
beside checking which place price is the cheapest around. DO look at the back of the panel to see if its really make by samsung themselves.

"its by samsung surely its made by them?"

WRONG.Thats the wrong idea. IN the case of Samsung 22inch 226Bw, there are 3 grades of panel namely, "S" , "A" , "C". In this case i happened to get a "C" which happen to be the worst grade.

S" is the highest quality and the panel is made by Samsung themselves, this is the panel that they sent out to reviewers. "A" is made by AU and is of slightly lower quality, but it can be calibrated to almost match the "S" panel. The "C" model is the worst of the batch and is made by the Chei Mei corporation. This panel has quite pronounced backlight bleeding issues as well as a very bad color profile by default.

TO prevent other ppl out there from getting a "C" or "A" panel theres several check to check the panel info.

1st way of seeing
remove the backcover of the screen which hide the wires. Look at the silver sticker behind

Look at the yellow circle which will show wat panel it is .. in this case it's a "S"panel top grade.Sadly mine is a "C" panel.However even if it write "S' do proceed to step 2 as some of the time it might not be panel "S" as written.

2nd step

This brings us to the second way of divining which panel is inside your 226BW. There is a secret service menu hidden away from the prying eyes of consumers. This service menu will contain the panel type most of the time. To access said panel, simply lower both the brightness and the contrast to 0 using the regular user control panel. Exit the menu, and then bring it back up again. After you have done this hold the source button down for 5 seconds. This will bring up the service menu. The panel type should be located down at the bottom underneath the Scaler-MCU entry. But Wait! It's missing! Yes, on my monitor the panel type was missing from the service menu. As it turns out this is becoming a more common occurrence in the newer revisions of this monitor. If the panel type had been there it would have started with "AU" for an "A" panel, it would probably have contained "220M1" for an "S" panel, and started with "CMO" or "CPT" for a "C" panel. Some of the other sites have a little more information regarding which model numbers belong to which panel.

The last step is more complicated. As it require the removal of the components behind the lcd. Unscrew the screws and follow by taking of the metal shield, right behidn theres two sticker

GamePlay:
The game looks outstanding, complete with detailed and accurately animated character models, beautiful environments and stunning lighting effects. The environments that you find yourself in also offer a great level of detail, complete with some truly realistic lighting and weather effects, which firmly concrete the GRAW(ghost recon advance warfighter)series as one of the better looking series.
Small flying debris could be seen flying around randomly infront of your screen. Dust could be seen blown away from the ground` or from the ruins of the structure.Take a look at the picture below, slight above soldier number 4 , the upper level of the ruined structure. notice that dust particles are flying out `

Now take another look at the pretty particle dust system used in the game, which can be illustrated by the following pic` dust generated from the ground as the chopper is taking off.

Enough said about the visual effects. What makes a game attractive is how realistic the game is. What i'm refering is the game physics system which affects most of the things in game like explosion effects. instead of just simpily an animation of explosion` ,hundreds of small debris could be seen flying away in all direction as an after-effect`. other examples,thousands of objects colliding with each other, fog that oozes around characters in motion, cloth and clothing that interact with the environment, and gushing fluids that tear through the gaming world. Graw2 is one of the game titles which heavily make use of physics to make gameplay more realistic.In fact if you owned a AEGIA physics card, you will be able to enjoy the game in full(sadly i dont own one but the effects are still stunning).

Another important factor is the game AI,something which is a little disappointing.
I played the game @normal difficulty as it was my first time playing such genre of shooter. The computer ai seems dumb at times. If you`re in a crouching stance and
not in the viewing angle of it. it will not discover u . Take a look at the following pic. It be uundstandable if i was sneaking behind him but i'm simpily just a couple of step next to him. gosh.

Some of the times your teammate will get stucked in position` and you have to reorganise the waypoint` to get it moving`. Other of the times they simpily move infront of your gunfire direction when order to move past to another direction.However the computer ai seem well versed in arts of war.your teammate will cover each other when moving in recon mode (simpily means crouch mode)and lie down when under fire` . On the mexican side they seeem life-like. running forward and sliding down to take cover when being fired on. moving constantly randomly` to avoid gunfire while determining your position`. When i threw a grenade upon them` they simpily scatter and look for cover!. In one the mission , i thought i was seeing a life combat exercise. soldiers threw smoke grenade all over the place` while heliptor drop troops down the rope`. snipers taking position in afar structures` while foot guerillas stick close to the fence` moving one by one to their position. sometime sliding down the ground as part of precaution of gunfire` while moving out. i was surrounded in a matter of sec`. Lucky for mi, a nightvision google is always available. No smoke can stop my killing muahaha.

Tips:
One of the tactic i found useful is equipping the team gun's with scope and suppressor` and grabbing a few grenade in my backpack to clear concentrated areas.wild gunfire will trigger of their alert of your presence so suppressor is a mustmust which make your gun go silence(some guns only). Firing a gun without supressor is a NONO. IF you do, moving upon the sight of the mexican will be fired upon instantly even if you are crouching are lieing down.However when using a gun with suppressor,do take note not to miss as they will quickly pinpoint your positioning. grenades are useful for clearing roadblocks and tanks! however its hard to estimate the range which u'r are throwing. Smoke grenades arent realy useful as positioning yourself in a crouch manner is enough to go unseen`.
One of the worst scenerio is facing opp helicopter ` which fires two rockets once in a while`. You MUSt grab a anti-air gun from one of the mexican u killed and believe mi even so those helis are hard to take down`.Its takes around a few rounds of bullet to down one. They do however fly in a noticable route. Try to not to face the heli when its facing you. quickly run to a cover as its about to fire rockets upon you.

Overall,Graw2 is a great visual feast game and must not be missed. However i do hope theres more single player mission and that the ai can still be improved.The missions are hard and takes a few rounds of trial and error in order to complete. It only took mi <1week playing 3-4 hrs each day to complete the full single player. _. even though i tried some of the missions many many times.I'm giving the game 4/5 stars!

i'm waiting for graw3 :)

one of the car i own ... in game HAHHA . Loved playing test drive unlimited when i'm emo..u know driving down the long long highway(apparently sg is too small) or down to the beach..the game pretty realistic too..they paid so much attention to the graphics and features to make it realistic.EVEn the weeds/grass sway to the wind if u notice. and the trees look so real. Weather does change in the game. when it does rain, ur screenwiper or watever u call it start working. U'r able to shop in the city for clothes too.. its like a sim games except more graphically advanced..

How i wish i had the money to afford de car.. den can drive u around everyday..

Come to think of it, we are so different.. just being pratical here..i'm aiming for someone opposite of mi.. Its true that anyone can be nice to you. BUT why should they be nice to u is the real question.

though an aged game, this game will simpily blow your mind away,first note : not for the weak hearted,only got the chance to try the game demo on my com today. surprisingly the physics/shaders/lightning was way ahead of its time. sadly it doesnt support any resolution higher than 1280x 760 :(

One of the special feature of the game was pressing the ctrl key to slow the game movement so that the player is able to perform quick action to evade the gunfire. Its something like need for speed:carbon speedbreaker , where time simpily slows down, and the screen blurs as you move to create the intense atmosphere which happen within a split second.

F.E.A.R elevates first-person shooter combat to cinematic levels. Every now and then the ghostly gal will appear in front of u dripping of blood in a red shirt.giving u warning of proceed no more. In the demo when the gal(named ALMA) first appeared, i gave a smile instead of being frighten by it. Mayb because the gal did not appear as scary as its suppose to be.

F.E.A.R limits the user to only 3 guns. so pick ur guns well, there was some kinda biological laser weapon in the demo, instantly turning the target into skeletons:D and yea it was fun. Most of the units could be taken down with a submachine gun, pistol while the elites wearing heavy armor seems harder to take down, i had to reload my submachine several times to take down one.

Near the end of the demo i was in a corridor with only two doors.after i went through the first dooor and was reaching for the second, the second door(which was open) went closed. turning around only to see the same girl but this time round more creeply. The next moment i was warped into the same corridor. but blloodd covering the whole ceiling and dripping. in the far distance u could see her covering in blood moving towards u. reaching out for my weapon only to find none. man, damn it. just as i walk towards her , she faded into a pile of dust. Movement was slowed,near the sides of screen was the motion blur effect as u walk. Reaching the end the gal appeared once again. and i was warped back to reality.This game is one hell of a hoorror movie. i cant wait for the sequel to come out in early 2008.i' get a gold edition by then to grab both games ^.^

MMORPG games like World of warcraft and grandado esapda arent really graphics heavy games. anyone with a low-mid end com , even laptops can run them at acceptable framerate and settings . Grahpic heavy games are -Crysis, Fear, S.T.A.L.K.E.R mainly first person shooting games which are out this year. Crysis might even put xbox360 to a test. Basically the writer is just using big names to attract reader attention.

The common impression of normal popoluation who know nuts about IT stuff, is that QuadCore- faster , better even for games.WHICH is so not true. a fast processor does aide multi-tasking and video editing and designing and stuff .BUT in the gaming world , its only 1-2% increase in performance for graphic intense game. MOST of the games rely more on a gd graphic card and high quality memory sticks rather then the processor except RTS games like supreme commander which drain most of your processor resource but still more % is towards the grahpic card/memory sticks.

Firstly this games are more than a year old. IF they are saying they need quad core to run them, wat happen one year ago when theres only single/dual cores :). Most of the time common population have a mindset that they had to have a high end com to play those high detailed games which is not true. ordering coms pre-build com from Dell and blahblah are just too stupid. U could have saved $500+ if you build it urself. Moreover those companies dont give much access to high end computer parts.

IN summary , this article is misleading though theres little bit of truth in it . Either the writer is paid to promote the lanshop or his just a amateur in the area of IT gaming.

Everytime i walk on the street people will approach mi for donation/directions.2 approach mi for direction last month and 1 for donation. Yet again today, some guy came up to mi shook my hand and telling mi the usual stuff.."donation for the elderly, any amount will do" follow by flashing mi newspaper articles. Usually i will donate. mayb bits which i inherited from you.
I donated a small amount and he gave mi a receipt which shows that it was some youth help community. great. u know how i dread liars. well it didnt bother mi much.At the end of the day , if u know u're lying (knowing the facts), it you who u are lying to and not me :D.

MOnday.monday blues again..had to bring my old shoes to school. incase i got caught and GG it is. straight fail if i get caught cuz i already had one warning letter( for sneaking out to play for tp wcg) :x hmm it was the sneakers we shop tgt for 2.5years ago.. its quite aged but i cant bear to throw it away.. just like the wallet and the shirt .. i still kept it:/ .. sigh.. shes all the way in shanghai.. its all the past.. time do not wait for ppl ..at least memories dont fade away.. :(

waited from 8pm all the way to 10.30pm for D to come back for training..first thing D sae was " i tot always is 10pm start training " -_- . had three rounds of training all the way til 130am` after that i went down to GG .. damn the cab driver took the longer route.ended up paying $8 which was almost $2 more. was watching them play at gg all the way til 4am..den game til 5am .. walk home. nutsz say it was 15mins from his house to paya lebar mrt .. well i only took <20mins to reach home by walking .. hmm it was like a walk down the memory lane.. when i used to walk from tkss to katong shopping centre , tkss to haiz road to the basketball court. my sec school looks the same..except it have a fresh paint on the building and extension infront of the general office.. and a new guard post.. the gates look bigger and strong now :x the tkss signboard looks like new well polish and had a glass covering over it .. The building surrounding the schools looks taller and more posh`.. i feel so small. back then in 2000 they were still constructing the condos..2004 still constructing.. now duman road looks like a whole stretch of private housing and condos .. rich man place:x ..oh and i miss the dog who terrorise everyone who walk past it.. its just a few step away from the busstop. somehow i miss the past. sigh.

wow neva fail to interest mi daily with interesting comments from other ppl around the world.. lets take a look at wat one of my guild mate said.For those who dont know what is overclock let mi explain in layman terms. it simpily means increasing ur processor /ram run at speed beyond its default speed through increasing voltage and settings in bios.

lol.. anyway computer hardware prices are dropping like crazy.. intel seems determined to crush amd once and for all by cutting prices to underprice amd already very low price. amd 6000+ 3ghz one of the top end of athlon64x2 is priced at $280 only while paying abit more @$300 could only get u a core 2 dual 2.0ghz 6420.
At the same time rams are at a high time low, ddr2 667 cost u around $65 per gb while ddr2800 cost $75+ per gb. Even the mobo are make future-proof meaning it's about to support futture ddr3 and incoming 45mn processor(more cache, fsb and consume much less watt than current one) .

In the graphical line ati prices are priced competitvely(with frequent price cut only to follow by price cut from nvidia) against nvidia in the mainstream line. $260 could fetch u radeon 2600xt gddr4 256mb OR a geforce 8600gt gddr3 256mb. performance wise radeon is faster in processing image/games without much shader being used. 2600xt have a much higher core, memory clock than geforce 8600gt but 8600 gt makes up with its higher shader clock speed and shader transitor. But well recent price cut drop 8600 by another $20. A 19inch dell lcd cost only $319(a few month ago this price can only fetch a 17inch)

I dont see a better chance to get a new com now as prices are at its very low` and directx 10/vista have arrived. u need new hardwares to support that. when AMD goes crashing down, its skyhigh prices for us next time:)

lets see. if someone one day came up to u and offered to solve ur problem with the promise of expecting nothing in return . u dono that guy so u declined. but he kept asking to help u with REPEATED of demanding nothing in return. u have nothing to lose but less problem so u said yes.
Problem solved. He demanded a seat by lieing that other players will leave with him if he dun get one.Questioned the other players , they said it was not true. What happen to the "expecting nth in return". Telling mi that u can leave which later on u tell mi you dreadly wanted a seat. got the chic to hint mi to kick D. Fine i have no problem in giving u THat seat.
later on, you complained saying u feel like a toy, wont get to play. Said u could leave the team once again. Here come the question. Lets sae if u get to play tgt with ronaldo or watever, u get to learn , u get groomed , u get paid equallly , u get to play with gd players just that u dont get to play as much. U GOT INTO the team through SPECIAL ADMISSION , through SPECIAL MEANS. No one blame for telling that lie . YET again u demanded for more . MOre playing time more fame. THe world out there is de survival of the fittest.U should be lucky to get urself a seat. Being the sixth player indirectly concludes that u're not that strong. But u're given the chance to get to the top. what more do u want.Rise to the top seat in 1day?

Yes sure u 're right , we dont even have a gd opinion of u even in the team. BUT I' MYSELF made the decision to give u that seat . the rest didnt really agree but gave face to mi.I lied and didnt break that out to you.They trust mi in my sight.Thats call respect.If u wan any respect or command of the team, u have to gain it yourself and not through playing mind games with each of us individually to climb upward.

One thing i can saae about SIP for sure. its a f****** waste of time. And the outdated coms are making simple task impossible lest sae multitasking. Sometime i wonder where all our school fees goes. i dont see fresh paint around the school or new coms or NEW TOLIETS(9/10 of guys toliet stink like hell) or any new building extentsion zz. even syllabus of subjects are quite outdated as in they teach mayb like 10years ago things zz. A simple game project could be done in 1 day. The working environment are just horrible. The place is humid even with aircon on max and additional fans brought in. i cant process much with the boring lights ,humid weather and laggy coms(which i hate most).Aircon Repairmen can be seen walking day in day out but its still the same. sometime i ponder that they do know wheres the problem is but dont wan to fix it so that they get to keep their job. get what i mean? a silver rice bowl or watever u call it.

Dumb dull stupid school rules of being on time and wearing decently neat , no shorts no flip flops blahblahblah. All for the sake of creating an artifical no pay office working environment. shouldnt student be on the top of their agenda ? OH YEA THAT REMINDS MI LOUSY CHAIRs. i cant sleep in peace with chairs which are faulty(either cant pull up or pull down). SLow and old coms, humid environment, dumb rules , lousy chairs. lastly we are paying our school fees for sauna lan hours , google-ing whole day while lecturers which seem to know nothing and nothing .

QuadCore and Southeast Asia highlighted .cool. its not like dota will use up all 4 cores. So far nonne of the game out there require all 4 cores or even dualcores de 2 cores.Supreme commander might use more than one core though`. when i left the place micro and knightmare was still fighting out over the champion title. In 3rd placing was GIA ,4th XQR. i neva expected a micro/ knightmare finals.In fact i foretell a XQR -MICRo finals.NOT to be mistaken, knightmare was performing quite well in recent compies,Just that i feel that xqr was stronger draft wise. For the past few days i played with xqr full online.3 match in fact. Their draft consist of qop potm furion bm tormented soul. It works pretty well when i drafted a fast push against them(all 3 round). Bm send bird to middle, spam axe, furion spam wrath of nature was really damaging in early game.The advantage of bm and furion nc and pulling back creeps meant higher hero lvl and gold. Dn* lose to xqr in a similar manner , chosing to draft a fast push of BB,omni,zeus,pugna,warlock against them. when i saw the draft, i know it was half over.

GIA vs firetoad.
GIa had sandking tormentedsoul silencer beastmaster and qop while fyretoad had warlock zeus es sf na.GIA was sentiel fyretoad was scrouge. Na soloed silencer-_- , Sf+ES vs sandking tormented at top,beastmaster +qop vs zeus+warlock. We controlled sf +es at top pretty well, mid silencer was farming` , btm was fairly abit on qop/bm side` with the aides of bird and creep lure. A strange lane combination, i would prefer na going tgt with sF than sf+es. ES didnt even attempt to block us or spam at us, which i dono why.He was moving around the forest touching no creep at all while attempting to find a nice spot to block but ended up getting caught by us(sk+tormented).After top lost control and zeus dcing at 13-14min mark SF went btm to party, leaving poor es to solo and constantly tortured and kill by sk+ts. under 20minutes top lane sentiel kills amounted to 6-7.

later in the game after i got my dagger(sk) around 20mins with bottle, i went around catching with beastmaster while tormented continue farming at top and qop at btm.Scrouge fyretoad got caught several times at mid` one of the part i like most was mi chasing es+zeus past tower even though i hear my mates telling mi to back. just straight after the fissure animation appear i burrowstrike both zeus and es at max range of 700.Meaning i skip the stun duration.Follow by a global silence, i epic-ed and double kill.NA kept hunting down qop at btm lane with a dagon. vendatta hit, stun, manaburn,hit, dagon.dead. At one point of the game Na was at the highest level of all(mainly bcuz he killed kid'qop 3times )-level17, when i was at 11.After a few sentries and catching na, we push and the game was over.

MICRO vs FOOSA
Micro scrouge , warlock sandking enigma bb qop. Foosa sentiel omniknight razor rk slardar . Only saw parts of here and there , foosa was losing badly. micro had such precise timing that u 're gone in under 2sec. Either they caught u offguard when they are in the fog OR when u wander too outside and get focus u start to B, ur mates crowd tgt with u trying to hex or stun for u, enigma or sandking jumps in tgt with the rock and stuff all under 2sec. usually is sandking who start the engage, epic blink in or walk in burrowstrike 2-3 follow by rock and bh. common sense when they epic was to B and when u B its usually a crowd.And it spells GG for u either way.

2nd round
xqr vs knightmare , xqr drafted their usually potm silencer and sandking and stuff, while knightmare drafted beastmaster qop.. smt lidat. Not sure how the match proceed cuz i' was fighting micronology on the other end.All Kh told mi was "we picked bm and xqr were lost on wat to do".

gia scrouge sa zeus/ qop / tormented soul rk vs micro spectre warlock / tinker/ sf bm. sa and zeus at top couldnt do much to spectre with warlock constantly harrasing and healing spectre while shawn tinker at mid was slightly abit higher lvl than kid qop. sf was farmiing well at btm with elq tormented soul slightly ppoorer than hyhy sf. with the help of bird, it was almost impossible for mi(rk) to stun him at close range.at around lvl3 i went off to mid and hide in the forest for at least 2-3 creep wave. when tinker finally came out i stun and he play around with the fog and poof off he go-_-. qop was on low hp and couldnt aide` mi. damn he was left with red hp. after two stormbolt. Hyhy had dagger at round 13mins lvl8-9 i couldnt rmb.. he went off to nc after he almost got 2k +.The spelling of GG starts at the first engage at first tower of scrouge mid, where by we tped down one by one for the sake of one tower. zeus came down follow by tormented then mi. sf blink away from sa ssmoke and manage to uti and cast afew raze.with 4 of us down sf money at least went up by 1.2k. Next bad engage happen at scrouge dragonspawn.GIA engaged without mi, mi being at the other side - scrouge nc. K zeus was seriously underleveled to deal any dps to Micro. rep zeus end game was lvl12 arcane ring boots dagger . ok during the engages zeus was downed too quickly (like 1-2sec?),sa had diffusal while sf had heart bot dagger ` and i only had dagger and bracers and threads. We were unable to deal enough damage to down sf quickly` and that engage at the dragonspawn lead to rax being downed.GG

xqr scrouge sandking rk phantom lancer , tinker , qop
gia sentiel spectre warlock / zeus /sf bm

xqr 3-1-1 wasnt really doing very well . top 3 sandking rk pl exchanged kills with spectre warlock with warlock being fb and sk died.rep told mi that darkwish sandking`
was indecisive when it comes to burrowstrike , ended up in taking freehits from rep` warlock . at one time rep manage to hit a total of 7hits+ shadow word and darkwish flyed away.Right at mid, tinker was leading zeus by 1/2 a level , the dominance ended when rep came to mid at lvl3 to aide zeus , bolt word 2hits tinker fly away`.qop and sf was both farming at bottom with elq sf earning 3.2k right when martell had only pers. i was constantly pulling the creeps and axeing qop once in a while`.when it proceeded to 30+mins , sf had heart ,spectre had midas radiance, warlock had guinsoo, i had book3 bottle boots , zeus had dagger arcane, we opted for a push. at that point of time sandking had no dagger and rk was just as poor` with bracers, while qop had linked and eul or smt (i couldnt rmb) pl had diffusal wraith bands.After a roar, sf jumped in followed quicky with warlock rock and linked bond` zeus spam and xqr sandking rk tinker pl was down`.MId rax was downed and the dominance of the game is obvious.Either xqr wasnt really playing their best after they lost knightmare or they are like wat kH said "pick bm and they are lost of wat to do".Beastmaster is seriously a cheap hero` free bird with a big scout range, boar with a 30% slow, axe which deal 360damage for 2 axe and can be able to cast at far range, roar which leave u disable for 5sec and lastly a high base damage.Most of the time we can foretell wat xqr was doing simpily by moving the bird around and tp towers and wait for them to take our bait`.

Lastly the prizes are as follow:

ok so my mates in school psycho me back to the boring life of wow. First thing i wanted to see how my old cow look on my new pc. It was great ranning everything on max detail and resoluution at 1600x900 .. fps was max at 60constant`..latency was much better at around 300ms. WOW look like a whole new game now wootts! This time round i be playing at barthilas , a NE druid .. woohoo.. oh welll it also meant that i cant blame any of my stupid mistake to lag/low fps anymore(which i use to do) :( ask my wow fnds and i'm more silly than u can imagine while playing mmorpg..Well back to grinding wooots
